KYVL celebrates 20 years today!

Happy Birthday, KYVL!

Since its launch on November 1, 1999, KYVL and its member libraries have served the Commonwealth of Kentucky with:

• 750 million database searches.
• 3 million items delivered by KYVL courier.
• Hundreds of millions of dollars in savings on retail database costs.

KYVL is a program of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education in partnership with hundreds of Kentucky libraries, including the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives. These partnerships make possible KYVL's vision of a Commonwealth in which all Kentuckians have equitable access to the information they need and the tools to use it effectively.
