Member portal information

The KYVL member portal is for librarians and administrators of KYVL member institutions.

 To sign up for your account:

  1. Visit the portal at kyvl.memberclicks.net or kyvl.org/portal.
  2. Select the Sign up link to create a personal account.
  3. Enter your email address and click Register.
    If your email address is already associated with an account, click forgot your password. You may also recover your username here. Otherwise, continue with the steps below.
  4. You will be prompted to create a password. Enter and confirm password and click Create Profile.
  5. Fill in your contact information and Submit. You will receive an on-screen conformation and an email acknowledgement from the KYVL Member Portal.
  6. KYVL staff will review your information and confirm you are associated with the correct organization. Once the review is complete, you will be notified, and you will be able to view information about your organization when you are logged in.

Once your account has been approved, log in at kyvl.memberclicks.net/login

  • Find libraries, people, or search all.

Member forms


  • Submit IP changes for your institution.
  • Request user rights in KYVL's CONTENTdm sandbox

Profile and Features (Quick Links)


  • Choose the Profile and Features quick link
  • On the My Profile tab, choose Edit to update your profile. Profile information is searchable in Member directory > Find people.

  • Choose the Profile and Features quick link
  • On the My Features tab, select Committees and click a committee name to view committee messages, members and files. This option is available only to members of KYVL committees and work groups.

  • Choose the Profile and Features quick link
  • On the My Features tab, choose E-lists to select the lists you’d like to subscribe to.

  • Click View for your library’s new username and password.

Viewing invoices

Designated users ("see Key contacts, below") at each library or institution can view institutional invoices, including payment status, as follows. Once you have logged into the portal follow these steps:

  • Choose the Profile and Features link.
  • From My Profile, choose Your Organization.
  • Click the green Invoices link.

Key contacts

Key contacts have permissions to view institutional invoices and can make changes to other user accounts at their institutions.

  • For most public and academic libraries, special libraries and private schools, library deans or directors are designated as key contacts.
  • For public school districts, many librarians and administrators are designated as key contacts.

Key contacts can assign or remove key contact privileges for others at their institutions.
