The Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) brings together over 16 million items from dozens of hubs and thousands of contributing institutions.
DPLA aggregates content from member hubs and non-member hubs, but the frequency of ingests and level of assistance provided by DPLA regarding data issues will be different for member hubs and non-member hubs. In addition, member hubs participate in governance for the network and have a voice in the direction of our network-wide priorities and projects.
A full list of the member benefits is available at dp.la/info/hubs/membership-program/.
KDL will be developing the look and feel of the new consortial instance of CONTENTdm. Minnesota Reflections is an example of a consortial site using the CONTENTdm platform.
