Courier pre-flight check - service resumes July 13th

Greetings, courier libraries. We're just about ready to roll. 

Please review the posted on KYVL's courier pages. Visit kyvl.org/courier/schedules.  The schedule highlights libraries resuming service the week of July 13 and provides a complete listing of upcoming restart dates. Contact KYVL at kyvl@ky.gov or 844.400.KYVL with questions or concerns.

When reviewing the schedule, please note:

• Stop times are approximate.
• For many libraries, delivery times will shift in the upcoming weeks as service resumes for additional locations.

More good news - the new courier form is live at courier.kyvl.org. Log in using your library's OCLC symbol as both user ID and password.

Some things to be aware of:

• Libraries previously assigned non-standard codes will now operate under their official OCLC codes. These include:
  • KJCW (formerly KJD) - Jefferson Community and Technical College - Southwest
  • KUS-MB (formerly KUR) - Southeast Kentucky Community College - Middlesboro
  • KYSCK (formerly KYT) - Simmons College of Kentucky 
  • KYLIV (formerly LCP) - Livingston County Public Library
  • MCLKY (formerly MCL) - McLean County Public Library
• In the form's Select Library box, find a library by OCLC code, library name or even courier sort code. Just start typing. It's magical.
• For libraries not yet receiving service, the upcoming start date appears before each library's name. Please plan your shipments accordingly.
• A few kinks are still being ironed out regarding printing, but both courier forms and shipping labels will render as PDFs rather than html.
