The KYVL member portal is KYVL's member database and communications center. KYVL maintains organizational contact information for communication and invoicing. Librarians and administrators are encouraged to create individual accounts linked to their member organization.

Key contacts have permissions to view institutional invoices and can make changes to other user accounts at their institutions.
Key contacts can assign or remove key contact privileges for others at their institutions.
Two kinds of invoices are available in the member portal - individual and organizational.
The KYVL Member Portal is a primary channel for KYVL communications. Members who are having issues receiving emails sent through the KYVL Member Portal generally need to add KYVL's sending address and/or IPs to an internal whitelist or safe senders.

Whitelisting is a process where an email administrator adds IP addresses for a sending server to a list in the firewall or spam software, in order to ensure delivery of messages sent from those IPs or sending domain. Adding IPs or a domain to a whitelist is generally done on the server level. This helps make sure emails that you want to avoid being filtered out by mistake.
